Check-In

Check-in with the Tournament Referee tent at the entrance 45-mins before kickoff.  They will go over the tournament rules.

Oceanside Soccer Complex is large.  

To give you an idea how long it will take you to get to your field, click on directions, enter your address.  Where it says "Leave Now" click the drop down and change to "Arrive By".  You want to arrive 1 hour before game time to allow for parking and getting to check-in headquarters.  This will give you an idea. You can go to Arbiter and click on the Field and a map will open and you can do the same.

Google maps: to arrive on Sat at 12 pm from Anaheim Hills, figure between 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

Pregame:
  • Referees will perform safety checks prior to the start of each game. Field marshals will maintain game reports. 
  • The game ball(s) will be supplied by the Tournament.
  • Home Team will have choose goal to defend.
  • Visiting Team shall be awarded the initial kickoff.
  • All spectators are to be on the opposite side of the field from their Team Bench.

Game Duration:
  • U13 and U14 games are 30 min halves.
  • ​Halftime will be exactly five (5) minutes​
  • All Preliminary Games will be called not less than five (5) minutes prior to the scheduled start of the next game regardless of the amount of time played in each half up to that point.
  • * Semi-Final or Final games tied after regulation will go directly to FIFA Kicks from the Mark to determine who is the winner. 

Substitutions by either Team are allowed at any stoppage of play with the permission  of the referee.

MISCONDUCT
  • Any player send-offs or coach expulsions must be recorded on the match report and reported to the Tournament Staff immediately following the game.
  • Any coach or player receiving a red card or being sent off from a game will have his player card surrendered to the referee until the required suspension has been served.  Turn the ID card over to the tournament staff with the match report.

1.  It is your responsibility to check the official game schedule before leaving for your games.

Fees, Forfeits & Reimbursements

Referee fees are NOT collected on the field.  You will be paid by NOCRA.  Referee fees will be on Arbiter.  If the game division is different email the assignor as it may affect your pay.
ONLY REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE GAME DAY FORFEITS.
Complete an Incident Report to be reimbursed. 
If the game is not on the Official Schedule your reimbursement will be denied.
