  • Report the Score, Misconduct (cautions or send-offs) on BOTH Game Cards
  • Confirm the score and any misconducts with the coach and obtain each coach's initials in the small box on both cards.

GAME DURATION AND SUBSTITUTIONS

USSDA GAMES (B12-DA, B13-DA,...)
A substitution moment is the number of times the coach is permitted to request a substitution.  The number of players allowed to be substituted in each moment is only limited by the age division as follows:

U12 (2007), 30 Min Halves, Unlimited substitutions with re-entry, 9v9, heading permitted
U13 (2006), 35 Min Halves, Unlimited substitutions across 3 moments with re-entry.
U14 (2005), 40 Min Halves, Unlimited substitutions across 3 moments with re-entry.
U15 (2004), 40 Min Halves, 7 Substitutions across 3 moments with no re-entry.
U16/U17 (2003/2002), 45 Min Halves, 7 Substitutions across 3 moments with no re-entry.
U18/19 (20001/00), 45 Min Halves, 7 Substitutions across 3 moments with no re-entry.

Half time DOES NOT count as a "moment"
Injuries count as a "moment" with the exception of the Head Injury Substitution Exception:
  1. If a player, suspected of concussion, is temporarily substituted and cleared they may return to the game, replacing the same player without being charged a “moment.”
  2. If the player is not cleared to return to play, the team is charged with a substitution moment.
  3. If the team does not have a substitution moment, or already substituted the max number, the team is to play short.
